Preferred Skills and experiences/availability:

  • High school diploma or above
  • No medical experience is required to become a SP, PETA, or GTA/MUTA.
  • Experience as a standardized patient
  • Ability to memorize large amounts of information and teach that information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Desire to improve the education of our future health care providers.
  • Being comfortable with your body and using it to teach healthcare students
  • Excellent communication skills and able to give constructive feedback
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel for occasional overnight events (MUTA/GTA)
