Campus Security Authorities
When any contract security company personnel are working at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center (Texas A&M Health), they are considered campus security authorities by a Federal Law, the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Guideline and Crime Statistics Act. As such, any employee of the company who works at any location that is owned, leased or controlled by Texas A&M Health is required to immediately report any crime reported to him/her to the reporting structure of the institution, which is the Texas A&M Health Department of Security.
