Melissa Millhollon earned bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Genetics from Texas A&M University, later completing a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Texas Chiropractic College. She is a licensed Chiropractor and Acupuncturist with professional experience spanning clinical research, healthcare practice, education, and administrative operations.
As the Program Coordinator for Clinical Skills, Learning Communities, and Interprofessional Education at the College of Medicine, Melissa supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of programs that enhance students' clinical, professional, and collaborative learning experiences. Her responsibilities include coordinating Clinical Skills and Learning Community activities, training and supporting Learning Community Leaders, managing the Clinical Skills website, and assisting with Program of Medicine (PoM) course initiatives. She also provides administrative and operational support for Interprofessional Education (IPE) programs, helping foster collaborative learning opportunities across health professions.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and their three dogs. An avid Texas A&M sports fan, she loves attending Aggie sporting events whenever possible. One of her favorite ways to spend time with family is traveling to Walt Disney World, which remains her favorite vacation destination.
