Biography

Kevin Sy is an instructional designer with the Office of Interprofessional Practice, Education, & Research (IPER) at Texas A&M Health. His work in IPER centers on learner-centered and empathy-driven design, where he collaborates with faculty and the IPER team to create engaging and transformative learning experiences that help students learn with, from, and about one another across health disciplines. Building on this foundation, he also supports the IPER team with technology integration, accessibility remediation, and the management of large-scale online learning communities.

Kevin currently holds a Master of Music from San Francisco State University and is completing his Doctor of Education at the University of San Francisco, where his research examines the effect of microlearning designs in higher education on students’ learning and motivational outcomes.
