As vice president and chief financial officer for Texas A&M Health, Kristin Nace serves as the chief financial advisor to Texas A&M Health executive leadership, providing support and counsel on all financial matters. She assists members of the leadership team in areas of financial management related to their activities, and is responsible for managing all financial resources providing maximum support to the Texas A&M Health mission and ensuring the necessary support services are provided for faculty, staff, and students in the most effective and efficient manner.
Kristin is dedicated to partnering with university leaders to support growth and strategic initiatives. She manages both long- and short-range financial planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and provisions for appropriate internal controls with a focus on ensuring the university meets its budgetary and financial commitments. In addition, she serves as the Texas A&M Health representative on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s Health-Related Institutions Formula Advisory Committee and is currently committee chair.
Kristin is a certified public accountant and graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting. She has served in several finance-related capacities within the Texas A&M University System since 1997, and with Texas A&M Health since 2001.
