Evelyn Lissett Mendoza is a Clinician II for TCHATT with Texas A&M Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Department. She has over a decade of experience in education and clinical mental health. She began her professional journey as a dedicated educator, serving in the classroom for over 7 years and a school counselor for another 7 years. She then transitioned into the counseling field to further support the emotional and behavioral needs of students and families. Evelyn holds a master’s degree in counseling and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families in both school and private settings. Her area of focus includes anxiety, adoption, trauma, grief, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics. She is particularly passionate about helping children and teens develop healthy coping skills, emotional awareness, and resilience through evidence-based approaches such as CBT, play therapy techniques, and family systems work.
