Biography
Dr. Reyes serves as the IPER Director for Interprofessional Assessment and Evaluation. Since 2004, she has collaborated with students, faculty, and staff across Texas A&M University, providing institutional leadership in assessment, evaluation, and data-informed decision-making. With a career rooted in educational research and continuous improvement, She brings both analytical expertise and a deep commitment to advancing interprofessional education.
In her IPER role, Dr. Reyes leads efforts to assess student and faculty learning, evaluate educational program effectiveness, and measure the broader impact of Texas A&M’s interprofessional engagement initiatives. Passionate about using assessment to shape meaningful interprofessional learning, she emphasizes evidence-based evaluation to enhance collaboration across health professions and improve patient outcomes. In her role with IPER, she supports continuous quality improvement, tracks key performance indicators for strategic planning, and draws on prior research into institutional factors affecting recruitment and retention to foster inclusive, impactful educational environments.
Dr. Reyes earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History and International Relations from Syracuse University, a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Houston–Clear Lake, and a Doctoral Degree in Educational Psychology, with a focus on Research, Measurement, and Statistics, from Texas A&M University.
