Biography
As a Simulation Coordinator with five years of experience, Tierne has taken on diverse responsibilities, including event organization, operational management, personnel oversight, and resolving technology-related issues. She has served as a Standardized Patient (SP) and participated in simulation training both as a student and instructor, contributing to Gynecological Teaching Associate (GTA), Male Urogenital Teaching Associate (MUTA), and Physical Exam Teaching Associate (PETA) programs.
In summer 2025, Tierne transitioned to the role of GTA/MUTA Program Manager. In this role, she oversees the scheduling of events and teaching associates, coordinates implementation, manages program supplies, and leads teaching associate training. I also ensure that current evidence-based practices are consistently taught to students.
Tierne is passionate about simulation for its ability to seamlessly integrate real-life scenarios with educational objectives, enhancing learner preparedness and confidence.
