Biography
Nathan E. Wilkinson serves as Deputy Director of the Simulation & Immersive Learning Center at Texas A&M Health. A U.S. Army combat veteran, he and his teammates conducted long-range reconnaissance missions across multiple combat deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism. He was a team leader, medic, airborne infantryman, UAV operator, long-range target interdiction specialist, and trainer.
Nathan is a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of ’08 and an honors graduate in Agricultural Economics with certificates in Trade and International Agriculture from Texas A&M University. He is pursuing an Executive Master’s in Public Service & Administration with certificates in Homeland Security and National Security Affairs at the Bush School.
He oversees operations across five simulation sites, driving strategic growth, stakeholder partnerships, and high-fidelity training for medical and nursing students. Previously a Mayor, Board Member/Officer of multiple charities and regional governance agencies, and Commissioner of the County Interagency Commission. With a decade as the Director of Operations for a large statewide non-profit, he is dedicated to supporting the success of any organization he is part of. Nathan led disaster response for over 60,000 displaced residents during the Camp Fire and has worked on several national disasters in search and rescue and emergency medicine.
Guided by his purpose to “inspire others to a greater tomorrow,” he fosters innovation, interprofessional collaboration, and excellence in healthcare education.
