students in classroom

The Texas A&M University Health Science Center serves to coordinate and provide guidance in research activities for our campuses, institutes and centers across the state. Research at the Health Science Center spans a full range of scholarly endeavors and disciplines, including biomedical, clinical and public health sciences. It involves a number of strategic outcomes, including:

  • To encourage initiatives and collaborations in research, scholarly activities, and advanced training.
  • To develop and enhance partnerships in support of core research facilities.
  • To translate scientific discoveries into practical applications through intellectual property development and commercialization.
