This information is presented to comply with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, which requires institutions of higher education to disclose information and reports on various aspects of the institution's policies, procedures, operations and costs.
Non-Loan Related Disclosures Requirements
Availability of Institutional and Financial Aid Information
A Student Notification is emailed to each enrolled student annually. A link to Financial Aid information is also mailed to each enrolled student with the first term bill. Paper copies available upon request.
Student Financial Assistance
The Office of the Dean of Student Life send out a notice of Federal Student Financial Aid penalties for drug violations in late August /early September. Drug and Alcohol education programs are provided to students through Alcohol & Drug Education Programs (ADEP) under the Offices of the Dean of Student Life.
There are many instances in which your financial aid packages is applicable to a study abroad opportunity. It is best to speak with a Financial Aid Advisor for more information when you are exploring the possibilities of studying abroad.

Health and Safety
The Department of Student Life sends out a notice of Federal Student Financial Aid penalties for drug violations in late August/early September. Scholarships & Financial Aid notifies students of their loss of eligibility and ways to regain it as those cases occur.

The TAMHSC Office of Academic Affairs sends an annual email to all students with information regarding how to register and/or update their voter registration information.

Texas A&M University conducts a Request for Information for alternative loans biannually. Lenders are selected based on that Request for Information. Students are free to choose any lender for their alternative loan.
