About Dr. Holland
Benny Holland, PhD, is the director of the Clinical Learning Resource Center (CLRC) at the Texas A&M Health Science Center. His research interests include utilizing clinical simulation technology to improve health care systems, processes, and outcomes. This includes: patient safety, medical errors, medication errors, and utilizing clinical simulation for skills competency evaluations.
Dr. Holland received his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University, and Masters of Public Health and doctorate degree from the Texas A&M University School of Public Health.
He has been director of the CLRC since it's development in 2005 and it continues to expand its mission to support the education of health care professionals.
