Education and Qualifications

Nuckols serves the Health Science Center as an environmental health & safety technician at the College of Pharmacy in Kingsville and also provides EHS support to the McAllen campus. Nuckols holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry with an emphasis in environmental chemistry from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC). She is nearing completion of a Master of Science in clinical mental health also from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Prior to joining the Texas A&M University Health Science Center, Nuckols worked as a chemistry laboratory coordinator at TAMUCC where she developed safety protocols and standard operating procedures for the safe use and operation of equipment and instrumentation in chemistry teaching laboratories. She also provided training to faculty, staff, and students on working safely in the laboratory.

Specialty Training/Board Certifications

Nuckols has been trained in Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), FEMA Incident Management, and DOT hazardous materials transportation.
