Health Care Services available to Texas A&M Students

There are a variety of health care options available to students at Texas A&M University. Learn more below.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency such as severe chest pain, shortness of breath, or a serious injury, call 911 or visit your local emergency room. 

Student Health Services is the on-campus health care provider for TAMU students in College Station / Bryan. Services include: Medical Clinic, Dial-A-Nurse, EMS, Nutrition Services, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Preventive Medicine, Radiology, Referral Coordination, and more.

Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS), is available to Texas A&M students for counseling services, psychiatric services, learning disability and ADD/ADHD screenings, crisis intervention and more.

Disability Resources offers accommodations coordination, evaluation referrals, disability-related information, assistive technology services, sign language interpreting and transcription services, and more.

Health Promotion offers education, outreach, and collaboration initiatives related to fitness and nutrition, alcohol and/or other drugs, stress relief, time management, sexual health, and interpersonal violence prevention.

Recreational Sports is the on-campus recreational center for TAMU students. Services include: aquatics, certification courses, drop-in recreation, group fitness and classes, intramural sports, outdoor adventures, sports clubs, strength and conditioning, and more.

Student Assistance Services provides students with guidance, resources, and support to address a variety of personal and academic matters. Common issues SAS provides support regarding: referrals/resource connections, concerning behavior follow-up, student welfare checks, student absence notification, Silver Taps/student death, assistance in coordinating family needs, and more.

The 12th Can is a food pantry that serves all students, faculty, and staff in need of assistance.

Tell Somebody allows individuals to report concerning behavior. Tell Somebody should not be used to report emergencies.
