Tuning Protocol - May 2013

  • The Tuning Protocol is a process that allows instructors to engage in professional dialogue through student work e.g. assignments, projects, practicums, etc.. Its purpose is to move beyond grading and assessment of student work to discussion that contributes to instructors’ understanding of how students learn and to provide insights on instructional practice. This session will cover foundational knowledge of Tuning Protocols including: reasons for using the protocol; why they are effective; and how they work.
