I am privileged to have a job that is rewarding and challenging…and fun. Meeting our commitment to community well-being – a commitment born in our land grant heritage, our Teague Cranston beginnings – is the institutional equivalent to my lifetime commitment to patients. Seeing our educational offerings expand is one way of meeting that community commitment; measuring well-being and areas of need and then implementing potential solutions for those needs is another. Leading the faculty, staff, and students of the TAMHSC as they work to improve health is an honor and privilege.
