CMS Workflow
Workflow is the online procedure required to publish content to the TAMHSC websites using the Cascade Content Management System (CMS), illustrated below.

Workflow Basics
Workflow is based on permissions, or who can access what content, and roles, or the actions which a user can perform. Roles include:
- Contributor: can produce or edit content.
- Approver: reviews content and, when necessary, provides contributor with edits. If content approved, forwards to the publisher.
- Publisher: publishes content to the live website.
Steps to initiate workflow deployment:
- Department identifies the assets (pages, folders) and corresponding list of users (Contributors) who will have access to these assets.
- Department identifies at least one Approver for the various assets. All individuals using the CMS must receive training. Sign up for training.
- Department identifies at least one Publisher for the various assets.
- Provide workflow information (items 1-3) to webmaster@tamhsc.edu.
- OIT receives this information and deploys the workflow in the CMS.
