This page contains settings for configuring you mobile device for connecting your TAMHSC e-mail account.

Windows Mobile 6.5

The following settings apply to Windows mobile phones with Active Sync. On your Windows mobile device, open up ActiveSync.

Configure a new server with these settings:

Server address: webmail.tamhsc.edu
Select the checkbox "This server requires SSL"
Enter your Exchange username and password
Domain: tamhsc
Select what data you want to sync (Contacts, Calendar, etc.)
Click Finish

Apple iOS

The following settings apply to Apple devices with iOS (iPhone, iPad, etc...). Browse to Settings | Mail, Contacts, Calendars | Add Account | Microsoft Exchange

Configure Exchange with these settings:

Email: Enter your TAMHSC e-mail address
Enter your Exchange username and password
Domain: ad.tamhsc.edu
Server: webmail.tamhsc.edu
Select what data you want to sync (Contacts, Calendar, etc.)
Click Save

Android

The following settings apply to Android devices. Note the steps may be slightly different depending on your Android device.

Access the Exchange settings via one of the following methods

Applications | My Accounts | Add Account | Corporate Sync Settings
Settings | Accounts & Sync Settings | Add Account | Corporate

Configure Exchange with these settings:

Enter your e-mail address and password

Domain\Username: tamhsc\username
Exchange account password
Exchange Server: webmail.tamhsc.edu
Select SSL and Accept all SSL Certificates

BlackBerry

Configuring your Blackberry to connect with Exchange is different for each providor. Please click on the link below for instructions for configuring your device.

Located on your device PIN and MEID

Configure OWA with these settings:

Log in to the Blackberry website with your Blackberry user name and password.
Click the Set Up Account button
Enter your email address
Make sure you leave the password boxes empty. Important: You must leave the password boxes empty so that the Blackberry website gives you the option to manually configure your email settings.
Select I will provide the settings to add this email account
Select This is my work email account
Select I can access my email account using a Web browser (Outlook Web Access)
Outlook Webmail Address: https://webmail.tamhsc.edu
Enter your Exchange username and password
Enter your email address in the Email address
Create a Mailbox name
You will receive the message, You have successfully configured access to; Click OK
