How do I place a call on hold?
A: Press the Hold soft key to place the call on hold. To retrieve the call press Resume.

- How do I transfer a call?
A: During the call push the Transfer soft key. This places the caller on hold. Next, dial the number to which you wish to transfer the call. After the line starts ringing you can remain on the line until the party answers or press the Transfer soft key again to complete the transfer right away. The transfer is not completed until you press the Transfer key again. To cancel the transfer and return to the original call, press End Call then the Resume soft key.

How do I mute a call?
A: During a call press the Mute button. The button will light up with a red color to indicate that the mute is active. To deactivate the mute, press Mute again.

How can I place a conference call?
A: During a call press the More soft key and then the Confrn softkey. Next, dial the number of the line you wish to join to the call. When the call connects press the Confrn softkey again. You can connect up to three callers.

How do I join an incoming call to an existing call?
A: If you are already in a call and another party is calling your line, and you would like for them to join your existing call. Answer the incoming call, and then press up on the navigation pad to select the original call which is now old hold. Now press the More button, then press Join.

How do I forward my calls?
A: Press the CFwdALL soft key, then dial the number your wish to forward your calls to. The phone display will be updated to indicate that call forwarding is turned on. To cancel the forward press the CFwdALL softkey.

- How do I place a call from the corporate directory?
A: Press the Directories button then press 5. Press the up and down buttons to navigate to select the Last, First, or Number fields search option. Using the dial pad, enter the last name or first name for the entry. Press the Search soft key to find your selection. Use the navigation button to select the correct number. Then press the Dial soft key. If you have selected a number that is long distance, press the Edit Dial softkey and enter 8 1 before the number.

How do I configure my voicemail?
A: Press the Messages button. You will be asked for your password. Enter 1234567. Follow the voice instructions to set up your personalized greetings and to change your password.

How do I retrieve my voicemail?
A: Press the Messages button and follow the voice instructions.
A: To check your voicemail from an outside line: Dial your number, when you reach your voicemail press *. Enter you 5 digit extension then press #. Next, enter your pin, and then press #.
A: You may also check your voicemail by visiting voicemail.tamhsc.edu and logging in with your TAMHSC username and password. Once you are logged in click Cisco Unity Inbox. In order to access voicemail.tamhsc.edu when off campus, you will need to use VPN.

A: Navigate to voicemail.tamhsc.edu. Log in using your TAMHSC username and password. Next click the Cisco Unity Assistant link. Click the Passwords drop down menu and select Change Phone Password.
