The Health Science Center (HSC) along with with Texas A&M University Library Services and Medical Sciences Library (MSL) are collaborating to provide the best possible online experience to our users. On January TAMU Library Services changed the way in which you access electronic resources, such as E-Books. Previously, you had to use your TAMU netID and password to access these resources - now, you can use your TAMHSC username and password (the same username and password used to access webmail). These changes will affect access to electronic resources (ebooks, etc.) and any external library resources accessed via the TAMU library website. It will not affect the login button at the top right of the library website. Below is a brief explanation with screenshots on how the new TAMHSC authentication works:

When accessing resources via the TAMU library search or other
links....

You may be prompted to select your
location. Choose 'TAMHSC'.

You will then be redirected to the
TAMHSC login page from where you can use your TAMHSC credentials to gain
access to the resources. These are the same credentials you use to
access webmail.
