If you call the central Help Desk outside the normal business hours, wait for the voice message and press 0 to be transferred to the on-call technician.
Help Desk technical support guidelines
If you receive a recording during normal business hours, you may leave a message or wait a minute or two and call right back to talk to a technician. If you simply would like to get a work order processed, you may leave a detailed message regarding the specific issue, and IT Support Services will handle the order as soon as possible.
There is a benefit to submitting some orders by email or self service. Non-emergencies that have a screenshot or a large amount of detail are great examples. Hardware and software quote requests which can include account numbers and other detailed information are better sent by email as well.
Local IT Support
Local support, including a walk-up service area, is available at every TAMHSC location.
Online services are also offered through IT Support Services.
