TAMHSC Google Apps provides TAMHSC faculty, staff and students access to Google’s online services, allowing users to take advantage of Google’s productivity and collaboration tools. Read the fine print.

Getting Started

A quick and easy way to utilize tools within Google Apps and customize your Google experience.

To get started, visit the TAMHSC Google entry portal and use your TAMHSC username and password to log in. You will then be directed to TAMHSC Google and your customizable homepage.  (If you have a personal G-mail account, you will be able to access Google Apps independent of TAMHSC. Some features of Google Apps may not be deployed at TAMHSC. OIT is currently utilizing Google Docs for collaboration within its service groups and is also researching Google Sites and Google Mail for possible future use within TAMHSC.

We provide easy reliable access for users to sign-on to these services. Support for these services is provided by the organizations that own the services. We are not responsible for the availability of services offered by any of the organizations involved unless the service or services are hosted by our department.

Documents and features within Google Apps (including Google Docs) accessed through your TAMHSC username and password are only available to current faculty, staff and students of our institution. If your status changes, and you are no longer employed by or attending TAMHSC, the documents within your Google account will be available based on your account type:

-Personnel (faculty, staff, affiliate faculty, volunteers) – Per HSC policy, accounts are immediately disabled unless a special exception is granted.   Supervisors may request access to your documents for up to 90 days after the termination date.  After that time your account is permanently deleted, documents that are not retrieved will no longer be available.
-Graduated Students – Per HSC policy, accounts are accessible for 90 days after graduation.   You may access your documents during that time and transfer ownership to a personal Google account.  After that time your account is permanently deleted, and documents that are not retrieved will no longer be available.
-Withdrawn Students - Per HSC policy, accounts are terminated immediately upon withdrawal and documents are no longer available.
