Nathan serves the Health Science Center as an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Safety from the University of Texas at Tyler and is currently completing a Master of Science degree in Fire Administration from Oklahoma State University . Nathan’s professional expertise includes applying NFPA fire, building, and life safety codes to a multitude of occupancies in addition to educating public and campus communities in personal fire and life safety practices. Previously, serving in capacity as the Assistant Fire Marshal for Texas A&M University, Nathan managed all fire and life safety compliance issues of major and minor construction and renovation from initial plan review to final building acceptance.
