A principal goal of the HSC is to promote outstanding research in the health sciences in order to create new knowledge and technology, as well as to support the education and service missions of the HSC.  The HSC recognizes that excellence in health sciences research is based on two major factors. First and foremost is recruitment and retention of outstanding research-oriented faculty members. Second, in order to have an outstanding research enterprise it is necessary to develop and maintain an effective administrative and physical infrastructure that will support, facilitate, and coordinate both individual and the interdisciplinary research activities by the faculty, staff, and students.

The Texas A&M Health Science Center Research Symposium will be held November 11-12, 2010 in College Station, TX.  Those interested in attending should complete the following registration forms and return them to Marie Parmer (mparmer@medicine.tamhsc.edu) by August 27 at 5 pm.
