Is the Clinical Learning Resource Center (CLRC) part of the TAMHSC-College of Medicine or the TAMHSC-College of Nursing?

Neither. The Clinical Learning Resource Center is a part of the central administration of the Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC). The Clinical Learning Resource Center provides support to all components of the TAMHSC to educate health professionals utilizing clinical simulation in a variety of methods.

Where is the CLRC located?

There are two Clinical Learning Resource Centers for the Texas A&M Health Science Center. In Round Rock, the Clinical Learning Resource Center is located on the fourth floor of the facility at 3950 North A.W. Grimes Blvd. Click HERE for map. Where can I park when visiting the CLRC?

How can I enroll/get information about the nursing program and/or the medical program?

Both the TAMHSC-College of Nursing and TAMHSC-College of Medicine have pertinent information online. The TAMHSC-College of Nursing website is http://nursing.tamhsc.edu, and the TAMHSC-College of Medicine website is http://medicine.tamhsc.edu.

How can I get a tour of the CLRC?

To arrange a tour of the Round Rock Clinical Learning Resource Center or the Bryan Clinical Learning Resource Center, please submit a Clinical Learning Resource Center Tour Request Form. Click Here for Clinical Learning Resource Center Tour Request Form. 

Who can use the CLRC?

The Clinical Learning Resource Center is primarily utilized by TAMHSC students, including the College of Medicine, College of Nursing, Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy and the School of Rural Public Health. The Clinical Learning Resource Center is also available to community health care professionals desiring to utilize simulation for their training needs.

How much does it cost to use the CLRC?

There are no charges for TAMHSC components and their students to use the Clinical Learning Resource Center for curricular activities. Extracurricular activities and non-TAMHSC entities may obtain information on using the Clinicl Learning Resource Center by contacting the center.
