Lee Ann Ray, Ed.D. is Chief of Staff, Office of the Senior Vice President and the Associate Dean for External Affairs, College of Medicine. Dr. Ray began her service with TAMHSC in 2007.
An educator for 19 years, Dr. Ray formerly was superintendent for the Center Point (Texas) Independent School District, serving five years in the district. She was also a school principal for 11 years and is widely experienced in leadership, education, strategic planning and analysis of systemic processes.
Dr. Ray obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from then-Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University-San Marcos), followed by a master’s degree from Sul Ross State University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
